Assalāmu ‘Alaykum — Dear Parents/Carers,
We have finally received our Ofsted report for the Boy’s School and as you can see we have come a long way. This is firstly due to the grace of Allāh and secondly due to the continuing support of all staff and students alike.
The report highlights many positive features of the school that the inspectors found and these include:
- ‘This is a school where pupils know they belong. They know that staff care about them and want them to be successful. Pupils trust staff to support them in their studies and when they need extra help of any kind. Pupils enjoy school, feel safe and attend regularly.’
- ‘Pupils demonstrate excellent attitudes to learning. They work hard and are keen to do well. Their behaviour is exemplary.’
- ‘The school is well led. Leaders provide a clear vision to provide a strong academic education while also developing pupils into well-rounded young men.’
- ‘Parents are equally positive about the school and its leadership. All parents who responded to Ofsted Parent View, Ofsted’s online inspection questionnaire, said they would recommend the school to another parent.’
We have already begun making further improvements to the school to ensure that our curriculum is strong at Key Stage 3 and we have been working closely with all staff to ensure that the school’s professional development of staff is robust and specific to allow all staff to be the best they can be — in line with the best schools.
Our small classes ensure that pupils learn better and our support system ensures that any pupils who come into the school behind are supported in the first year so that all students make good to outstanding progress.
We are also extremely proud to say that inspectors once again found our boys’ behaviour and attitudes exemplary and gave us an ‘Outstanding‘ grade in this area!
We would like to thank all parents and our community for the support they continuously give and hope that our report demonstrates the hard work and commitment of Directors, SLT, Staff and Students alike.
